Full body coverall featuring an attached hood, elastic face, elastic wrists, front zipper closure, storm flap over zipper, attached boots and outer boot flaps.
The suit material is Tychem® SL — a lightweight fabric made from DuPont™ Tyvek® laminated with a chemical resistant Dow Saranex® 23P film. It is a versatile fabric with trusted protection against a broad spectrum of chemicals. Seam construction is bound, NSR® and taped. The suit offers protection against radiological, biological and chemical aerosols and light liquid splash and is recommended for applications including triage, victim decontamination, perimeter control, victim transport, biological cleanup and protection from heavy blood borne pathogens. This suit offers a high level of protection against heavy aerosols, liquid splash/spray and hazardous gases. Suggested applications include search and rescue, initial entry and investigation, hazardous release mitigation and containment, victim recovery and body recovery.
Tychem® TK is a patented limited-use fabric consisting of multiple barrier films laminated to both sides of a tough substrate material. Tychem TK provides one of the broadest ranges of chemical protection available, successfully tested against more than 260 chemicals. The suit offers excellent resistance to chemical warfare agents — allowing 12 hour exposures to sarin, soman, tabun, sulfur mustard, lewisite and VX with minimal permeation. Seams are taped and laminated.
